Stopped at the Nelson Mandela Capture Site. An interesting experience it was. Have always seen pictures but have never been. A ticket sales office where one is supposed to purchase tickets with nobody home. Carried on and did the touristy thing. Informative plates along the long walk pointing out highlights in Mandela’s life. Took pictures and had some brief chats with other visitors. Then a bus full of tourists stopped and we decided it was time to leave. We expected way less. Thought it was a simple stop and take pictures affair. It is not. There is a shop with memorabilia, restaurant, barn with a number of informative posters (a new museum is being built so we assume a lot of these posters will be re-done and moved into the new museum).
