Arendsnes is located in Cintsa Bay East, between East London and Morgans Bay, and approximately 200 meters from the beach. They offer bachelor flats, log cabins, self-catering chalets, and camping as accommodation. We were on a road trip with all our camping gear so we did the most obvious thing – we pitched a tent!
Vegetation is lush and most campsites have almost complete privacy. water and electricity are available and three ablution blocks with portapotties facilities are sufficient for the number of stands.
We appreciated the grass-covered site and the closeness to the beach.
There is a lot of entertainment available at Arendsnes, and also in close vicinity, including the following: Volleyball, – Swimming Pool, Pool table, Tennis Courts, Horse rides on Beach, Super Tube, Tractor rides, Hiking Trail, – Ski boat Launching site, Mashie Golf, Game Reserve 8km. Conference facilities are also available for up to 120 people with all the required items like projectors and wifi.
Arriving on a Sunday afternoon in Cintsa we found almost all the shops were closed, so be sure to have all you will need with you should you also head in that direction on a Sunday.
Should we ever have the opportunity we certainly will go back again.
Note: During this road trip all our cameras and cell phones were stolen on our second-last night while asleep in a townhouse in Port Edward. The photo/s you see here were sourced off the internet. Should you be the owner of any of these photo/s and would like us to give credit please let us know and we will do so without hesitation. Should you wish for us to remove your photo also let us know and we will happily comply. Or even better – if you could provide us with fresh photos you don’t mind us using here please contact us.
