Klein Paradys Polokwane is located only 11 kilometers from the CBD of Polokwane and offers both cabins and rooms. We opted for a cabin for our overnight stay while on the road between Gauteng and Makhado in Limpopo.
Our cabin had a double bed, en suite bathroom (shower), and coffee station with a refrigerator. A single bed is also available in the room for a third person. A small stoep is on offer but we enjoyed the round cement table with benches underneath some trees the most. A fully equipped and communal kitchen is available should you wish to prepare food.
Previously the owners offered themed children’s parties and the remnants of a small Wild West town create a welcome of a different kind as one has to walk past a saloon, bank, sheriff’s office, and more to get to your cabin. some of the porches of these “abandoned” buildings have been closed up and are now used as bird cages. A small swimming pool is on offer for warmer days. Bunnies roam freely (so please drive carefully), plants and birds are abundant, and decorations of all sorts make one feel at home.
We think this is the ideal stay-over for persons in need of a place to stay should you be on the road or have business around the area. It is possible to have a longer stay as Polokwane offers various touristy attractions of different kinds in the area.
We loved the uniqueness of the decorations and the bunnies so much we will definitely make use of this facility should we ever get the opportunity again.
